The Biddeford Time Bank (BTB) is a community of people who support each other based on a relationship
of trust, mutual support and respect. It’s also a system that keeps track of the work members do for each other.
For every hour you spend doing something for a member
of BTB, you earn one time dollar. Then you can “spend” that time dollar on having a member
do something for you.
BTB does not limit exchanges to the person for whom you provide a
service or from whom you receive a service. You may provide a service for one member and receive a service from another
member.
Each time dollar
is banked in the member’s personal time bank, available to be used when the member wants or needs a service that another
member can provide.
Members may spend their time dollars at any time
on any service other members offer.
